Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kamloops?
Moved here before my first birthday.

Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
My mum because she is very easy going.

Describe yourself in one word.
Kind.

What is your favourite activity in Kamloops?
To go hiking with my golden lab Gracie.

Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I am apart of rotary Kamloops, I’ve been a part of the food drives and the soup kitchens for as long as I can remember.

Where would you like to see positive change in Kamloops and why?
Giving back to families.

How do people connect with you, personally, through social media?
Facebook or Instagram.

What is the name of your business/organization?
Averygilbertphotography.

Why did you get into/start this business?
Always loved getting away to take photos of my friends and family and I wanted to expand.

What is the goal of your business?
To catch priceless moments.

What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
Not letting things get the best of me.

What do you always find yourself saying?
"Stay positive."
