Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
Hubert Bourne, my fiancé, because he always makes me laugh, love and be my best self.

Dalai Lama.
Who or what inspires you?
Nature, mindfulness, and conscious living.
What are three things on your bucket list?
1. Hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia, Turkey
2. Ski the Alps
3. Hike the Inca Trail
Please tell us about a defining moment in your life.
When I had the opportunity to hike the Pisaq Ruins in Peru. The Temple of the Visionary brought me deep understanding about individual healing and the collective consciousness. My outlook on life expanded from this experience.
What are you passionate about?
Complementary and traditional medicine and healing. The natural world and our place within it, soul-inspired outdoor adventure, travel and ceremonies.
What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
The day I woke up in the Amazon jungle of Peru and went for a walk with a guide to learn about local plant medicines. In the afternoon I danced in warm, torrential rains under a heavy but magnificent sky. Then in the evening, I participated in the most profound medicinal healing ceremony I've ever experienced.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Passing the Provincial Board Exams and licensing requirements to practice acupuncture in BC.
Where is your favourite place to dine in your city?
Terra Restaurant.
What is your favourite activity or event in your city?
Interior Wellness Festival.
What is the name of your business/organization?
Vital Point Acupuncture.
What does your business/organization do?
Predominately we offer acupuncture services, alongside other traditional Chinese medical techniques such as cupping, Tui Na massage, moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, auricular and diet therapy.

Where do you want your business/organization to be in five years?
Thriving and offering our services to the interior in multiple locations.
What three qualities do you feel that your business/organization exemplifies?
Understanding and being sensitive to our client's needs. Listen empathetically and address the whole person. Steady hand and precision in our skills.
What would you like to say to your employees/volunteers?
I would like to say thank you to my colleague Chelsea Gimby, for her hard work, compassionate nature, and dedication to our practice.
What makes you feel successful? Tell us about it.
My compassionate and understanding nature, alongside my clinical skills, help clients to be heard, supported and guided towards their health needs. Through my 15 years of clinical experience and education, I have seen growth and healing in the mind and body of my clients, which is truly an honour to witness.
If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
Nutrition, epigenetics, neurogenesis, and spirituality. I would ask them what is the absolute best way to successfully become the healthiest and wealthiest versions of ourselves and to encourage and support that in others.
If I could change one thing about the city you live in, it would be:
Air quality.
