Meet Jennifer, she was in Vancouver but has lived in Kamloops most of her life. Jennifer creates handmade toys for babies going through teething, the toys are made of silicone, wood and crochet beads, to jersey fabric braids and 100% cotton teething blankies. She also offers sensory products for those with autism, ADHD, fidgeting, restlessness, nail-biting and/or other sensory needs.
Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
My four children and my husband.

If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
I'd go to Disneyland with my family.
What is your favourite activity in Kamloops?
Fishing
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
I'd rather not say...
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
Having my children has inspired me to dream big and reach for all my goals, I want to show them that they can do anything they set their minds to.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
My favourite childhood memory would be going for drives with my parents in our '66 Mustang in the summertime with the top down, my dad would drive past sprinklers.
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
Mini Munchers Chewelry (Myself) is hosting the 1st annual Kamloops Kids Expo Sept.8, 2018 at Thompson Rivers University Campus Activity Centre in Kamloops, BC. This is a family-based event which includes vendors, interactive booths, educational activities, entertainment and much more! All of the net proceeds will be donated directly to the BC Children's Hospital Foundation.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
I would eradicate Childhood diseases.
Where would you sneak away to in Kamloops to spend some time alone?
I like to sneak away to a few secret beach spots, that I know of.
Where would you like to see positive change in Kamloops and why?
I think Kamloops is an amazing place to live. I am looking forward to some upcoming traffic changes at my children's elementary school this year.
What do you think makes Kamloops great?
Location, community, small businesses, activities- indoor/ outdoor, university, etc.

Finding a balance.

Don't give up, just keep trying! Or shhh... mommy's on the phone, lol.

Go with your gut.
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
Shopping locally provides directly for local families and kids instead of adding to corporate pockets.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
My children, they amaze me every day!
