I love spending time with my fiance Chad and our dog, Hershey.

There are so many I love, but I tend to lean more towards favourite restaurants like Peters Pasta, Terra and of course, The Commodore.
Describe yourself in one word.
Genuine.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
I'd like to head to Europe in the near future.
What is your favourite activity in Kamloops?
I enjoy meeting friends at Earls for appetizers and cocktails, and I really enjoy skiing at Sun Peaks.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
I was backing out of a clients driveway waving to them and dummied their garbage can and recycling bin, and debris went everywhere!
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
I was honoured right out of high school to figure skate for Disney on Ice, which toured all around the world. It was so amazing to see so many different cultures at such a young age.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
At the age of five, I really enjoyed being dropped off at the local Clearwater ski hill with my older brother and sister. They would take me up the lift in between their legs and they taught me all the basics!
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
My co-worker Amanda Mitchell and I host an annual golf tournament through our Royal LePage Shelter Foundation which has been a great success. All proceeds are given back to the local Y Women’s Shelter. Throughout the year I donate to several kids sports teams as well.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
Kindness. There are so much criticism and judgement in the world today.
Where would you sneak away to in Kamloops to spend some time alone?
I just recently moved into a new home and I've enjoyed nothing but relaxing there or going for hikes in the Batchelor Heights trails with my dog.
Where would you like to see positive change in Kamloops and why?
I think the city has been doing a really good job of uplifting the North Shore core and supporting small businesses starting out over there. I hope they continue to revitalize that area.
What do you think makes Kamloops great?
The people. It is such a small knit community and everyone is so friendly and welcoming to newcomers.
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
1. Travel Europe for a month
2. Buy a recreational property
3. Start a family
Tell us something that not everyone may know about you.
I used to be Donald Duck on Disney on Ice.
How do people connect with you, personally, through social media?
Mostly Facebook and Instagram.
What is the name of your business/organization?
Melissa Hole - Royal LePage Westwin.
Why did you get into/start this business?
I purchased my first home at age 18 and it really intrigued me. A good family friend was retiring from the business and presented me with the opportunity to take over his business.
What is the goal of your business?
Providing honest, authentic and the highest level of service to my clients so I can continue to grow my business throughout the years.
What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
It’s a hard balance in this industry being on the clock 24/7. I've learned to find a happy medium of providing a high level of service to my clients but also having a good home life.
What do you always find yourself saying?
The market is really busy but I can't complain!
Tell us your best piece of life advice.
Be kind to others and make time for yourself. Money isn't everything and life is too short.
If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
I enjoy hanging out with my fiance Chad the most. His cool collective personality makes anything we do, enjoyable.
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
I like to support the small ma & pa businesses who work around the clock to provide for the locals. It is more authentic and you know you’re not just a number to them.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
I was just awarded the Diamond Award for 2017 from Royal LePage and finished fifth overall. The top 10 ranking has always been a goal of mine and I finally surpassed it!
Give someone you think that deserves it a shout out and explain why!
Blake Bolster at Royal LePage Kamloops. He's a small town guy from Clinton and works really hard in the industry to provide for all the surrounding small communities in that area.
