Ian Groves loves bringing an idea to a design to a reality.
As the owner of Living Kitchens in Kamloops, he and his team help customers realize their dream homes with new custom cabinets and millwork for any room, especially kitchens and bathrooms.
“Seeing the transformation of a renovated space or being a part of a beautiful new home construction is very satisfying,” says Ian.
“The end result is a tangible product that we can be proud to put our name on.”
Time and time again, Living Kitchens blows customers away with exceptional service.
“We work with our customers at every level to determine their needs and work within their budget and schedule to give them a quality product that we stand behind,” says Ian.
“We don't just push the latest trends and tell people what they want, we deliver what works for them and fits their sense of style.”
Customers never feel like a number at Living Kitchens, but a member of the team striving for gorgeous results.
While companies from out-of-town are setting up shop in Kamloops, Living Kitchens continues to be 100% locally owned and operated.
“And we also source as much of our product as possible from as close to Kamloops as possible,” says Ian.
“We know Kamloopsians value contributing to the local economy.”
Living Kitchens collaborates with a wide variety of customers, from homeowners to contractors to retail and commercial clients for new homes, renovations and restorations.
“Because we work with all kinds of customers, expanding our client base simply means working with more clients and developing new relationships throughout the city and surrounding area,” says Ian.
“We're excited for what the future has in store. We're always working to improve our products in both the range of products we offer and the quality of materials and workmanship. We've been working to implement the latest in technology in our industry.”
A strong and dedicated team is needed to make this happen and Ian is committed to helping each and every Living Kitchen team member grow their skills.
“As a business owner, I'm proud to provide a place where people enjoy coming to work and have the freedom to live their lives outside of work,” says Ian.
Ian himself started working at Living Kitchens in 2009 as an installer for about 10 years and completed the apprenticeship as a Red Seal Cabinetmaker.
He then moved into the office to be a part of the engineering-design-logistics team.
When the founder of the company was ready to retire, Ian was uniquely positioned to take that next logical step into business ownership.
