The Botanical Scene
Crazy plant lovers commence. Sister store, Far & Wide, started The Botanical Scene as a plant pop-up store in late 2020, and has now permanently opened in downtown Kamloops. Inspire Trails Horsemanship
Giddy up and hit the trails of the Thompson-Nicola by horseback through grasslands and along lakes with Inspire Trails Horsemanship. Guided tours are offered in the morning or afternoon and range from medium to long trail rides for up to 6 guests per group. Keep your eye out along the way for wildlife such as eagles, beavers, and moose. Inspire Trails will be opening for the 2021 season on May 28.
Ice Creameries
Did you hear the latest scoop? Ice cream shops are spread out across the city. Frozen Paddle, a craft ice creamery inspired by the craft beer movement, is serving up unique flavours with in-house made ingredients in downtown Kamloops. Choose from their Frozen 8 (always on scoop) with flavours like Salted Caramel or Haskap, dairy-free options, or their four limited-edition flavours added each month - hello Mini Eggs or Chocolate Banana Bread.
