The best steak in Kamloops 2020, as voted by you

Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, presents the top 3 best steaks in Kamloops of 2020, thanks to the voters of Kamloops.

Sometimes steak cooked at home isn’t the same as ordering a professionally made steak from a restaurant and we have learned which restaurants will serve you the best steaks.

Here are the bronze, silver and gold medalists for the best steak in Kamloops.

Bronze - Mittz Kitchen

The locally-owned downtown restaurant, Mittz Kitchen, has snagged the bronze medal for their steak dishes. Jeff and Steve Mittz and the talented Chef Dave Rempel offer a locally sourced, Canadian menu influenced by other cuisines across the world. Steak-wise, together they serve AAA Angus Reserve as a striploin, rib eye, or a peppercorn steak sandwich for their guests. Each is cooked to perfection and totally delicious.

Silver - Mr. Mikes Steakhouse

The silver medalist goes to the casual steakhouse chain, Mr. Mikes. Their signature Canadian AAA steaks are a top menu item. Guests have the option to personalize their steaks with different cut, style and topping options that allow complete uniqueness. Otherwise, the menu highlights steak and seafood combo’s for their diners, all wonderful options.

Gold - Atlas Steak + Fish

Atlas Steak + Fish has been voted as the gold medalist for their steak. Although they are temporarily closed, the modern, fun culinary entertainment restaurant boasts delicious beef tenderloin, New York striploin, chili-rubbed cowboy rib steak and USDA certified Angus beef tomahawk steak (hand-butchered 48 oz bone-in tomahawk steak). You are guaranteed to have an excellently prepared steak here.
