Hop, hop, hop into the weekend with this quick guide to Easter egg hunting in Kamloops. The Easter Bunny will have a busy few days leaving behind all these treats!
The BC Wildlife Park is hosting its annual Easter Egg-Citement with egg hunts for kids of all ages. They have three categories (all ages up to 12, age five and under, and ages six to 12) with hunts running throughout the day on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Other Easter fun will include a pancake breakfast, scavenger hunts for kids and teens up to age 17, a colouring contest and lots of animal encounters to check out. See the full daily schedule here. The park is open 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day this weekend. Where: 9077 Dallas Dr.
Check out the second annual Eggs-ceptional Easter out at Rainbow’s Roost on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for lots of fun and games. In addition to the classic Easter egg hunt, they’ll have carrot toss, egg race, bunny bowling and pony and tractor rides! Sahali Mall is hosting its big Easter egg hunt on Saturday. Kids between the age of seven and 11 will hunt for eggs at 11 a.m. and kids aged two to six will hunt for eggs at 1 p.m. Jump ‘n Jax Entertainment will also have their bouncy castles set up for the kids to spend some their energy after the chocolate overload! Calvary Community Church will have tons of games, bouncy castles and a massive Easter egg hunt on Saturday for its Easter Extravaganza from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event is open to the whole community and everyone is welcome. Where: 1205 Rogers Way. Find more ore info here.
This Westsyde farm is opening up its gates for an old-fashioned Easter egg hunt on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring your own basket for the egg hunt and then have some fun with other games and races. The Barn will have hot dogs for sale at the lemonade stand for lunch and guests will have a chance to meet some of the farm animals. Admission is $2. Where: 8773 Westsyde Rd. Find more info here.
The Easter Bunny has been busy hiding eggs in the snow at Sun Peaks. Kids will ski around looking for chocolate goodies on 5 Mile Run on Sunday. The group will meet at the top of the Sunburst Chairlift at 10:30 a.m. There’s no extra cost but participants will need a lift ticket. Find more info here.
Easter fun is happening at Bible Truth Church on Saturday afternoon and everyone is welcome! Enjoy a free barbecue, activities for the kids and, most importantly, a giant Easter egg hunt getting underway at 2 p.m. Children in Grade 7 and younger are invited to participate in the hunt.
