If you purchased a lottery ticket online for Tuesday night’s Lotto Max draw, check your numbers as soon as possible.
According to the BCLC, a ticket purchased through PlayNow.com won the Lotto Max jackpot of $31 million.
The winning slip matched all seven winning numbers of 8, 9, 23, 30, 38, 40 and 43.
That means someone in British Columbia is a new multi-millionaire and is in for quite the life-changing shock when they open up their PlayNow account.
Whoever the lucky lottery player is will now have 52 weeks to come forward and claim their prize.
Information regarding their identity and location within BC will be made public once that happens.
The BCLC says the odds of winning a Lotto Max jackpot are 1 in 33,294,800 per $5 play.
