Not only will it be a strawberry full moon, it will be the lowest full moon we’ve seen in many years, according to the Farmer’s Almanac.
That means we’ll get to see the Moon in an extra bright, reddish-orange colour.
The full moon coincides with the summer solstice this year, making it an extra strange event.
Due to the solstice, the sun will be at its highest point of the year, while the moon will be at its lowest—resulting in the appearance of a much larger moon.
Spectators should look up at the sky just after sunset so see it in all its glory.
