The Kamloops International Baseball Tournament (KIBT) is set to host its 45th annual tournament next week.
Six high calibre teams from Canada and the U.S. will play the four-day long tournament from July 5 to 8, at Norbrock Stadium.
“We’re back for our 45th annual tournament, and it’s going to be great,” said President of KIBT, Wayne Harper.
“Last year Norm Daley and Jack Hollstedt, our community sponsorship coordinators, confirmed Sussex Insurance as our title sponsor, and we’ve seen other businesses and individuals come forward to give their support to ensure the tournament is a success. It’s going to be a fantastic event for the entire family to get out and enjoy some ball.”
Competing teams include the Seattle Studs, Everett Merchants, Northwest Honkers, Seattle Selects, Redmond Dudes and the Kamloops Sun Devils.
Games are set to take place at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. each day. A full schedule can be found online.
Tickets for KIBT are available at the stadium entrance along with full Tournament Passes.
